Box Office Mojo has stated that as of yesterday, September 29th, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has passed the $300 million mark in the US and Canada.

As of Tuesday, Half-Blood Prince has earned a reported $300,011,724, in those countries. The film is the second Harry Potter movie ever to make more than $300 million domestically - Sorcerer's Stone, the highest-grossing Harry Potter film both in the US and internationally, made $317,575,550 in the states.

Yay go HBP!!! I wish I could see it again, but I live in a small city and it's now out of the theaters here. I LOVE this movie! I saw it 6 times in the theaters and it got better every time because I noticed something new. I thought the movie was very well made and artistically beautiful. I think this film out of all the others left the most out from the book, but Kloves did a wonderful job of capturing the overall tone of the book. I loved it!

Well, that's good news. I would have gone to see it again, but wasn't really impressed with how the movie was done. They could have added another $10.00 to the total if I'd gone again. Oh well.
