| | |  Half-Blood Prince casting rumours denied
Representatives for Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes, and Stuart Townsend have all denied claims that their talent are to appear in Half-Blood Prince. Quote:
“Not true,” declared representatives for Naomi Watts, who was rumored to be playing the role of Narcissa Malfoy (and we think she’d do an awesome job, by the way. Heck, we picked her for the role last month!)
“These reports are not true,” echoed representatives for Joseph Fiennes. “Not true” was also stated by Townsend’s reps.

I'm kind of happy that Naomi isn't playing the role, because i still say that Emily Procter from CSI Miami (Calleigh Duquesne) would be better suited. I dunno lol she just fit how i pictures Narcissa Malfoy. lol but Emily isn't british...so i guess she wouldn't be gettign the role either

Actually,I was REALLY hoping they would cast an unknown for Narcissa Malfoy.I mean,Naomi Watts could play the part,but she's an American and the accent might be kind of iffy.I prefer regular people in the films instead of famous actors and actresses playing the roles.

I actually don't think that I would like Naomi as Narcissa, the actress I think would be really good is Kate Beckinsale, with blonde hair of course! I think she would be perfect..
But I'm upset about Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend, they would have been good!
