Half-Blood Prince casting news
Several new actors are reportedly in talks for roles in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Although it’s unknown at this point which parts they’re up for, the actors are Jack Davenport, Peter Rnic (was Mad-Eye Moody’s double in Goblet of Fire), Stephen Rea and British born Australian actress Naomi Watts.
Some of the roles that they may be considered for include Tom Riddle, the muggle Prime Minister, Fenrir Greyback, Rufus Scrimgeour, Professor Slughorn and Narcissa Malfoy.
Filming for Half-Blood Prince will begin mid to late summer.

I´d say, judging by those pics, that Stephen Rea would be Rufus Scrimgeour, Peter Rnic Professor Slughorn and Naomi Watts Narcissa Malfoy. The fourth guy may keep the rest of the roles, I guess

While I do think Naomi Watts could fit the bill for Narcissa, she really is too pretty for the role. Her features are very soft and Narcissa's are much harder and angular. She could fit and I could see her in the role but there must be better players out there for it. | |
