| | |  Half-Blood Prince on All-Time Worldwide Box Office chart
With Half-Blood Prince continuing to attract audiences across the globe, the international intake has now risen to $492.3 million, with the worldwide figure now standing at $747.7 million, with $255.5 million acquired domestically.
As such, the film has made it onto the All-Time Worldwide Box Office chart of the highest grossing movies, ever. Film six is currently at #35, but with the most recent figures, should be placed somewhere in the top 30. The sixth movie is also the third highest grossing domestic film of the year, tying with The Hangover and Star Trek.
With the recent release in IMAX, the film has also accumulated an extra $3.2 million from those screens. Half-Blood Prince remains the top film in the UK ( taking $4.38 million this week alone), with the movie also topping markets in Japan, Germany, Russia and Italy, with the film also continuing to do well in France. | |

| Crazy Hufflepuffian Sirius 'bout Sirius
I wonder how much of this box office success is down to the fact that they left us waiting so long for the movie! I've heard mixed reviews from my friends and family.
Each movie, as the time goes on is going to bring is massive amounts more than the last; more would have read the books and watched the movies, not to mention the DVD re-releases just before HBP hit the cinema.

WOHOO!!! GO HP!!!! :-) Yeah not a shocker -it is Harry Potter!!! :-) I have already seen it 4 times-LOVE IT!!!!-best Potter yet (IMO) will be seeing it again this week w. other friends! :-) I only re-watch HP b/c of the big screen time- try to see it as many times as I can before it is gone! DH movies I will probably be seeing every week! LOL THAT will be a new record for me and movies I am sure! | |
