| | |  Half-Blood Prince actor's brother talks auditions
Jamie Knox (the brother of the late Robert Knox who will be appearing as Marcus Belby in the Half-Blood Prince) has spoken out regarding his relationship with his brother.
In the article Jamie reveals how both he and his brother had auditioned for the Potter movie, going for the roles of Tom Riddle and Cormac McLaggen, respectively. Quote:
When Robbie's big break came with a part in Harry Potter, Jamie was the first to congratulate him. "I was jealous, but immensely proud of him," he said. "I'd gone for the part of Tom Riddle, but didn't get through. He had auditioned to play Gryffindor student Cormac. He missed out but they liked him so much they gave him Marcus Belby."
He also spoke of how his brother had got along with the rest of the crew, generally being the onset joker. Quote:
"Everyone on the set loved Rob, he was a real joker, taking the mickey out of the other actors. He made friends with everyone, including Daniel Radcliffe."
Both Jamie and Rob previously had small roles in the Hollywood blockbuster King Arthur.

So his brother is replacing him? I thought the scenes had already been filmed or something.
I really hope they do put a memorial note at the end (or all HP fans will just have to shout "In memory of Robert Knox"at the end
