| | | GoF will be a PG-13 TV Guide reported yesterday that ' Goblet of Fire' would be given a PG-13 rating in the US due to sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images."
It has now been confirmed by WB that the fourth film will indeed have that rating.

im 15 and live in america...i dont think it really matters if the 4th movie is PG-13 because it will bring more older people to see it in theaters and for younger fans under 13 who want to go see it with their friends it won't matter because they let kids under 13 buy pg-13 movie tickets with their friends....i did it when i was 9 |

| I'll still be able to see it. The bad thing about this PG-13 rating is that the younger fans may not be able to see it. It's not as if they haven't imagined the scenes in their head while reading the book.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jake Jarvis Sixth | I think it should be PG-13 because when the movie comes out to theatres I'll just turn thirteen so it'd be my first PG-13 movie when I'm officially thirteen lol (don't worry, I've seen PG-13 movies before lol) |

| | | Yeah I agree , it did have to happen sooner or later , I mean most pepople who go see the movies gave read the books so it shoulden't affect wheter the parents will let them go see it or not since they have already read the book you know. | |

| I'm glad, mabe then those parents won't bring little babies and toddlers who talk through out the whole thing, it also means that the movies are going to get very interesting... |

| | | Do you people actually think children probably from 6+ won't drag their parents to the movie theatre just to see the sequel to the other movies they've seen, even if its rated PG-13??! | |

| Its a natural progression as the actors grow up and the tone of the books builds to its climax. Besides it's not just the actors who have grown up since the series started. |

| | | I am very happy it is PG-13. I have always liked the more mature moments of the Potter series and I can safely say the rest of the films will all be PG-13. | |

| | | I'm glad it's been given that rating. If it wasn't, you'd think they'd just skip those parts, or film from behind so you can't see anything 'violent'. | |

| I think the rating is indeed correct. I mean, there will be a lot of scary things happening, with the dragons, the mermaids, the sfinx and giant spiders and everything. But most of all, the ritual for Voldies resurrection...Wormtail cutting of his hand...don't wanna show that to an 8 year-old... |
