* GoF slated release date confirmed Summary:
A slated date for the GoF release has been confirmed. Article: GoF slated release date confirmed
You may remember that SS previously reported that 'Goblet of Fire' will be released on November 18th 2005. We got this information from TLC who first reported it. TLC have received confirmation that WB are still aiming for the 18th November release date but stress that it is only slated and is subject to change while filming progresses.
Also TLC would like to give a reminder about their sweepstakes which they opened a few weeks back. They would like us to inform you that you now have untill June 8th 11:59pm EST to enter the competiton due to previous problems with their emails. After that, no more entries will be accepted. To enter the competition, go to their part of the site here.

GoF is one of my favorite Harry Potter books but since now the books are really getting thicker,it will be hard to fit it in a certain time limit,i hope they dont cut out all the funny parts to becuz I like those, and all the fights ron and hermione have, especially after the Yule Ball. But I hope the movie isnt too short I would like it to be over 2hr 20min long, that just my opinion becuz when you watching Harry Potter, you dont realize you in you seat that long!

Oh, I really hope GoF comes out in November! With the first two movies, we made it kind of a tradition to go to the Harry Potter movie the day after Thanksgiving with the whole extended family, and it was kinda disappointing to break the tradition this summer. I also just love the whole Christmas movie season, and it would be fun to have GoF as part of it! Too bad it's another year and a half away!

I can't wait to see this movie. I hope they don't cut as much stuff out as they did in the last film but you know it is a new derictor so who knows. They should make it four hours long because the more the better but thats just what I think.

I just hope they find a way to stay true to the plot. I think its a hard task and they would've been better off making it into 2 movies. It already has a $300 million budget so I think I will be very dissapointed if they cut alot out with that sort of money.
