* GOF cost and a casting rumor.

Summary:
Goblet of fire cost rumor and another rumor for casting.

Article:

movies.go.com reports

Quote:
The rumors reported last week about Goblet of Fire's supposed $308 million price tag might not be true. We hear from our own super-secret insider sources (we know a guy who knows a guy) that Mike Newell was only kidding about the movie being so expensive.
and they're still going on about the Rowan Atkinsen rumor that was proven false loooong ago!

Quote:
So the other day, we heard that Rowan Atkinson had been cast as Voldemort in the fourth Potter flick, which had us quite concerned. Today we've discovered that that rumor is just balderdash. Whew.

I love Rowan Atkinson's hysterical Mr. Bean, so it's nearly impossible to imagine him as someone so evil. And $308 million? Talk about a blockbuster. But, I was watching the TV Guide Channel, and they stated that Lord Voldemort was about to be cast, or already was cast, and was to be played by John Malkovich. I personally think that since John Malkovich has played some seriously gritty, horrifying roles, he could play a decent Voldemort. I know that some good make-up would have to be put on to make him look like a man-snake, as Voldemort basically is, but he's a fantastic actor who would be able to play an evil character very well.

I heard that GoF would cost a lot of money but I don't know if it's true. They said that it would cost more than Titanic and some other movies. But it's Harry Potter so I'm sure it will do good in the movies and get at least some of that money back!!
Rowan Atkinson as Voldemort...that would be a laugh and a half!! I know it's a little off topic btu when he was in the first Scooby Doo movie I was like " oh it's Mr. Bean"
I can't picture him as Voldemort. Voldemort's suppost to scary  and Rowan is funny...no matter what way you look at it!!!

Well, That is a good thing. I believe Alfonso. Did and excellent job with the look of the movie. But How that thing was thrown together was horrible. I wish they would have did the movie like the book. But still I am happy that the movie was actually made.

Yeah but £300 for around 9 is quite cheap in comparison to that figure you just gave, for one.

i think that GOF will take alot of money to make but i also think that it will make ALOT of money. I hope that the producers wont chicken out snice it is sooo expensive. everyone is saying that its going to be more expensive then titantic i say so?? its going to be better then titanic so why not just spend the money? they no it will gross as much money as they spent to make it if not more!!!!!
