| | | GoF a 'guaranteed blockbuster' The New York Post has produced a list of ten 'guaranteed blockbusters' which could help the movie industry make up for a disappointing summer. ' Goblet of Fire' comes second on the list. Quote:
Moving Harry, Hermione and friends back to Thanksgiving, when the first two films opened, is expected to reinvigorate this franchise. Harry's numbers drooped somewhat with the June release "Prisoner of Azbakan," even though it got the best reviews of the series. "Goblet of Fire" should also get a boost from the recent excitement surrounding the publication of J.K. Rowling's latest wizardly saga. In the new film, from the thickest and darkest book in the series, Harry must cope with not only Lord Valdemort (Ralph Fiennes), newly risen from the grave, but also fire-breathing dragons.

Am I the only one *really* annoyed that it says "Harry, Hermione and friends"? Was it really hard to type three extra letters?
Any ways, I'm glad that GoF and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe are on here because they're both films I anticipate and plan on seeing the day they come out. King Kong... I think people are only projecting it's mega-blockbustery-ness because of Peter Jackson. Any other person making it, I doubt people would anticipate it so highly.

We already knew that his quotes were usually given to hermione, and now, they don't even write his name. *annoyed*
whatever, it's great to see that gof is on the list.

Awesome! I was hoping it would be that good. I can't wait until November! It seems so far away, but if it's as good as they claim it will be, GOF will be worth the wait.

Violet Becker Accidents & Catastrophes | "It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not." Well at least it's number two. But who is number one? It's kind of sad think that not as many people want to watch the movies anymore. I mean I love the movies personally. There's just always such a long wait between them since they have to film and all I guess. But even though people and reviews sad the third Harry Potter movie was the best, I actually like the second better.

Even though I can't wait to see it, I'm glad they pushed the release back to November. It just seems like the right time for HP. I know it will do well!!

I am looking forward to seeing GoF. I however would have preferred a summer release so I could have recieved the DVD for Christmas. It will do well as a late release since schools will be on breaks and adults off for the holiday too. The only problem is November is still long time away. I so want to see the movie today.

GOF will be great, I'm sure, and it will raise the expectancies for the 5th movie even more. This is def working for the best of the series, as from a director to the other, the movies just keep getting better and better.
