Variety has a small piece on the ' Goblet of Fire' costumes and set pieces featuring quotes from Stuart Craig (set designer), David Heyman (producer) and Jany Temime (costume designer). Quote:

the costumes weren't all that bad in the movie. the school uniforms get nicer each movie. ron's costume was hilarious. i loved that scene.

Actually I didn't think it was modern at all...I though it looked futurist, and then when I saw it from the inside then yes it looked rather very like old buildings but I never thought it looked Victorian...of course I wasn't around in the 19th century despite my great age...*fires the cannons* You kids would've hated the 20th century... I loved Ralph as Voldemort. Its good to know he's really into the part and the character and contolls a lot of what happens.

wow, they can sure come up with some pretty funky costumes for them, that would be super fun to make them!!!!!!! i wish i could do that someday... see how obnoxious i could make one, pretty weird i think. Ron's dress robes were great, but in the book he's supposed to try to cut the lace off with a spell, but he'd do it all wrong and it would be ragged and ravelling and funny looking. so the director person left that out, that wasn't a very big part, it wouldn't've been that hard!!!! come on, stick to the book a lil bit more!!!!!! i can't wait until the extended editions come out, because i know they will eventually!!!!!!!!!! and ya, that was off topic, but it had to be said. and ya, Ron's dress robes were great.
