That's great! I hope GoF wins all of them. I do think that Dan should have been in Best Actor *shruggs*

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

Wish them all the best but knowing how the BAFTAS have gone before I don't think that Goblet will win it's not 'mainstream' enough!! BAFTAS don't usually do 'fantasy' they stick to drama but you never know I might be wrong, hopefully

Nah I think it got what it deserved. I mean Crash, The Constant Gardener...they were great films. 'Goblet of Fire' was nowhere near as good as them. Quote:

And Dan for best actor? For one he can't be, he's too young, but regardless of that you can't have him nominated alongside people like Ralph Fiennes. It just wouldn't make any sense. These are proper big-time awards, not magazine polls. Same goes for Rupert and Emma and the rest of the kid cast. They're good in HP but they don't come anywhere near actors who've worked in the industry for years/decades...and no-one would expect them to either.
Yeah the BAFTA's, like the Oscars, are pretty high brow and usually an indication of who will win big at the Academy Awards.
I'm dead chuffed at The Constant Gardener noms. My favourite film of 2005...closely followed by Crash. It has tough competition with Brokeback Mountain though...which I'm not too sure about because it's only just been released here. I'll have to see it first before I can comment on that. But yeah, Ralph Fiennes for best actor, definitely.

Well ... in my opinion GOF deserves all of those awards ...hopefully it wins all of them ... or maybe not for make up and hair ... because it looks like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has made better job on that ... or who knows ...
