I had that owl when I was waiting for PS to come out in cinemas! It also gave me a virius. It can do that because the owl makes a link to feed info from, to your computer. So, with that information it could send a virus through too.
It's also very annoying. It pops up at the most inconvenient of times and only delivers 'old' news (by SS standards). Think about the news section of the official site and how awful that is and you'll have some idea how bad the news the owl brings will be.

I forgot when, but weren't there a same thing before the on the HP site, before? I downloaded it then and really loved it.
Then I think they stopped or something happened to my computer so the owl stopped comming, maybe that was the virus. :/

OK, I downloaded it. I'm stuck with the stupid skin now, it says it will download the owl next time I go online ... we'll see. Why do I have the feeling I'm going to be stuck with a whole bunch of stupid ads I don't want? Oh well. It will be worth it for those rare occurances where I do get a little owl with HP news ...
