| | |  Gas leak at Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Yesterday afternoon a minor gas leak at the construction site for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, lead to a brief evacuation. At about 2pm the Lost Continent portion of the Islands of Adventure theme park was emptied of guests and the fire department were alerted, according to Tom Schroder, a spokesman for the park. The issue was resolved by quarter past the hour and normal service was resumed.
The themepark is scheduled to open next year. | |
