| | |  Gary Oldman Seems Unlikely to Return for OoTP
Gary Oldman's manager has once again gone on record on their official site, stating that it is unlikely the actor will return for the next Harry Potter movie. Mr. Oldman's manager states that no negotiations are in progress for 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', which has begun filming, and that Gary is 'actively seeking other employment'. Quote:
There are currently no plans for Gary Oldman to appear in the upcoming Potter film. We confirm that no negotiations are taking place. We confirm once again that Mr. Oldman is actively seeking other employment.

If the whole reason Harry gets lured to the MOM is that he thinks Sirius is there and he needs to go rescue him we will just have to accept a different actor If Gary Oldman is not going to do it!

well I hope he knows that he has totally ruined his chance with the HP fans If he does not return they will hold it against him. If it was his intention or not it will matter cause a role in the films is almost irraplaceable unless u DIE! ( aka- richard harris)
- its strange though he came back for the GOF just to be the dang voice in the fireplace!!! and now he gets a role thats meaty and he gets to battle and die well he passed it up and it won't be forgotten. that is if he has.
-I have to restate that Although it seems there has been no effot on both parts ( WB or oldman) I can't blame him then. If WB did'nt ask him back then Oldman's agent would have to state he was busy, or so but I think again on both parts there seems to be somthing they arent fully discussing yet to the public.

They can't just not have Gary play Sirius. He's like the perfect Sirius. He just fits the part so well.. And he's like wicked important in the fifth book.. like wicked important.  I'm gonna cry if he's not in it.

I hope too that he will be back for ootp. If isn't, it's simple i wont wash it.
But I've heard that he want's to be back, but they haven't started the negociations. I don't know what they're waiting for.
