Gary Oldman feared his kids had been abducted last night when they vanished after a trip to a busy tourist spot. He alerted police and dozens of cops rushed to search the area round the London Eye while a helicopter hovered overhead. Just as Gary arrived at the Eye he discovered there had been a simple mix-up.
The star, who has been plagued by stalkers since moving to the US, was terrified they had been snatched. His Los Angeles-based agent Douglas Urbanski said: "Given the threats he and the children have received in the past, Gary acted as any normal parent would."
