| | |  Franz Ferdinand confirm GoF appearance - Jarvis Cocker to write music for GoF too
Franz Ferdinand confirmed for Radio 1 that they have been asked by producers to contribute something for the Goblet of Fire soundtrack and might even have small roles in the film. They also mention that Jarvis Cocker is also writing for the film. Quote:
"We were going to collaborate with Jarvis, Jarvis Cocker."
"He's written three songs already and he wants us to write another one with him, so hopefully we'll have the time and energy!"
"No, we do have the energy, I'm sure. It's such an exciting thing to do, it's incredible."
"They've asked us to be in the film. Something about the four weird sisters or ugly sisters, (it's actually the Weird Sisters) playing bagpipes or something, I don't know."

At first I thought Franz and HP? What the heck? But now that I think about it I suppose they would add "pizzaz" to it. That would be awesome if he does some work for the wierd sisters.

I'm a huge Franz Ferdinand fan, and obviously I love Harry Potter as well. I just hope the two are as great together, as they are seperately.

Take meeeeeeeeee out! Yay I love Franz Ferdinand. Did you know the real guy Franz Ferdinand started WWI by dying. Yeah he was an archduke and then his country attacked the country he died in and some other countries joined them and BOOM...WWI all because of Franz. Yeah that is the end of Bethie's History Lesson. We're learning about WWI in school and the teacher said Franz Ferdinand and I was like, "OMG!" Yeah I love the band.

Franz Ferdinand ROCKS!!! I love their sound. "Take Me Out" is awsome, I know they will make a great Wierd Sisters, this film just keeps sounding better and better. I can't wait 'till next year. Goblet of Fire is said to be the most expensive film ever made and it sounds like they are going all out. VERY COOL.
