| | |  For Your Consideration Half-Blood Prince posters
Two posters have been created for Half-Blood Prince, requesting that the sixth film be considered for nomination in various categories for the 2010 Academy awards. The categories suggested are; Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapated Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing. They can be seen here;
Nominations will be announced on February 2, 2010, at 5:30 a.m. PST. The ceremony will take place on March 7th 2010 at 5PT/8ET on ABC. | |

I don't understand why the PS/SS, COS, or POA did not win in their respective categories because they deserved it very much, especially for the brilliant score by John Williams and the amazing effects, along with a great screenplay. I mean if Twilight gets nominated for an award than I will be HBP all the way and would want to see HBP win very very very much because the other movie is terrible! And if HBP is nominated then I would definitety support it just because I'm a HP fan
All I'll say is that if twilight get nominated and potter doesn't that stink.

Harry Potter has been nominated for Oscars' before, but lost to Lord Of The Rings. *groans* I hope Half-Blood Prince gets at least one Oscar.

Umm ... that movie, it didn't stick to the books. Now, I get how film and paper, they're two different mediums but, honestly? They ruined the characterization! Look at Ginny - girl-power, strong Ginny, and what's she reduced to in the film?
That film totally shocked me, and I really don't think it deserves an Oscar. I love HP, but if HBP wins ... *headpalm*
