Im on vacation in florida right now and i was gonna go. Its like a 30 minut drive from where i am but i ad a party to go to instead. I really had no choice all my family was coming and i never get to see them. But i actually have seen HP like 5 times on one of the largest I-max screens in the west side of the U.S. its in colorado. I-max rules!!!!

I went there!!!! Can you believe it! I'm such a big fan.  I live about two hours from Ft. Lauderdale (where the IMAX theatre is located) and I went anyways! It was cool. They gave us vanilla and chocolate cake with frosting that turned your tounge blue! hehe I noticed that. I signed the board they put up for Harry and JK. It was funny because people were writing to Dan, and I was like "People, it's not his b-day!"  Had a good laugh about the crazy things people wrote to him. Wonder if they'll give it to JK. :ermsmile:
The theatre itself wasn't that big. But the screen was gigantic!!! I had to go to the 7pm show because the 4pm was sold out in no time! But it was better, because we got to go around the museum. Which is very educating, by the way.
Well, I'm sorry for all those people who couldn't go. That doesn't make you any less of a fan. :sorcerer:

Oh snap! I wish I had gone. I begged for my parents to take me they said we had other stuff to do. I can't believe they wouldn't drive to Ft. Lauderdale but next weekend we're gonna drive all the way to Jacksonville. Oh well, maybe they'll do something for the fourth movie or sixth book.

I wish I coulda gone, but alas, I live in California. and Florida is a very long way away from here :ermsmile: ...oh well, dad might take me to see Harry Potter in IMAX!!!!! weee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can be very persuasive

that sounds like so much fun! wish i could've gone but i live in cali too (we're so boring when it comes to hp... =/) and my parents would never let me take a trip across the US for a party lol. if only we were all rich like dan rupert and emma. pnutpotter, ur gonna see it in IMAX? lucky! i was sposed to (i saw it already though) but plans fell through...  | |

I was there (sort of) lol.. i live like 15 minutes from the IMAX theatre and I went to do an animal exhibit so I was at the museum but not technically at the party (sadly i had to work). I just stopped by during the costume contests and stole a piece of cake (mmmm the cake was so good) but yeah there were quite a few people there.

a IMAX theater in my area had Harry Potter playing today, and I wanted to go... but I had to work at my theater 3 hours later cause we were shorthanded, so I missed it... booo :/
Anyone know if they are still going to play it in IMAX?
