| | |  First picture of Rita Skeeter in GoF!!!
The current issue of Premiere has a first look at Miranda Richardson as Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
This picture is of a scene BEFORE the first task. Also, you will notice her appearance has stayed extremely close to the book - in particular the nails, the glasses, the dragonhide robe and the sleeve-horns.

This exciting new image was preceeded by two others, just over a week ago, which were of Harry & Ron in their dress robes and the other of Harry & Hermione in the tent before the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. Those photos can be found here.

@ first i imagined miranda richardson 2 b proffessor umbridge, mainly caz proffessor umbridge has a high pitched voice and miranda richardson can do a perfect high pitched voice, she played queen elizabeth I in the second series of a british comedy called blackadder and she had a high pitched voice. but w/ her in character as rita skeeter she loox EXACTLY how i imagined rita skeeter 2 look like, im sure shell b gr8 in the movie!

wow! awesome!! she does look extremely close to the book...except I pictured her with very short hair and her hair is longer...but oh well, she still looks like Rita Skeeter!

Kind of. Although, for some reason, I imagined her a brunette. Oh well, my memory doesn't serve me well often, but I do beleive she did have blonde hair.

Well, she's just like she's described in the book, so I don`t see how anyone could be disappointed with the look of the character. Other than perhaps the hair, I can`t remember what colour it was said to be in the books, but I always imagined it to be red.
And yes, that's Harry & Hermione in the background. I think it's when she attacks Harry about an interview or else maybe she's saying something like, "Oh, is that your girlfriend?" or something, because of the article she later writes. The two do look kind of weirded out, so maybe that is what she's saying.
(The Leaky Cauldron revealed a small part of the GoF script a while ago & it was of a part just before the first task & Dumbledore says something like "Everything's ready to go now, the champions are all here and so begs the question, why are you still here?" - aimed at Hermione and apparently she blushes & leaves the tent and the shot ends with Harry looking at the miniature Hungarian Horntail. That's all I can remember of it, myself.)
I also remember Dumbledore tells Skeeter & Hermione to leave because the champions have to begin, so possibly, that's why she's (Rita's) looking around.

That's exactly the part! I almost garuntee it! I'm not dissapointed at all. I just thought she was a brunette.

Miranda Richardson is great. Exactly as I imagened Rita to look too. Perhaps her hair Red/brown, but that doesnt matter.

Well...she looks like she matches....but..i always pictured her...younger,dark hair, kind of sloppy. But then again...i tend to picture the charachters differently then what they are written....lol
