Summary:
Akichoro of Charmed By Dan got an extremely special treat last weekend. A Japanese shop that offers official Harry Potter merchandise and memorablilia had its grand opening, and she shot some wonderful pictures of the event, including a couple of props from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The store, Harry Potter Collections, is located in a mall at Queens Square Yokohama, outside of Tokyo. It will only be open until August 2004.

In addition to Harry's Firebolt (which the shop assured Akichoro was one of the real props used in the film), you can see Professor Trelawney's crystal ball and a Defense Against the Dark Arts schoolbook!

how come we don't have any harry potter stores Las vegas? i'm goin to cali soon...can anyone tell me if there is one in like in LA or san fransisco?? haha...i like the pic...it soo funnie, wen i saw it i was reaxhin out for it on my computer cause it looked so real...if u make it realy big...

Wow, Japanese people are SO lucky, first they get little keyring thingees when they order PoA movie tickets...and now, a Harry Potter shop???

The sleeping bag was when they all had to camp out in the Great Hall, after the fat lady was slashed. That scenes gonna be so cool to watch. I wanna go on a shopping spree at one of those stores.

SOOOOO UNFAIR!! why cant they ever bring cool stuff like that too LA.
California. I cant go to japan! oh well..thats so cool. I'm glad at least japan got it, I know that London most get that stuff all the time. But anyways I like the books so detailed and the crsytal ball looks wicked. I cant wait to see POA!
