* First 'Half-Blood Prince' website opens - loads of new & old info about book 6 Summary:
The first website with the name "Half-Blood Prince" has now opened. It is run by the same people who run HPANA. Article: First 'Half-Blood Prince' website opens
The site, which is called Half-Blood Prince Info is a HPANA Mini Site dedicated to the up and coming book six, Half-Blood Prince.
Featured on the site is a collection of news, rumors and confirmed facts about the sixth book, including a list of some of the things that will happen in the story. Fans can sign up to be notified of the release date.
The site also has a long list of rumored book six titles that sprung up before we received the offical title. I have browsed around the site and below are some of the most interesting and prominent facts we have about the book "Half-Blood Prince" so far. Book 6 Facts

* The title was once considered by author J.K. Rowling for the name of book 2, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which incidentally "holds some very important clues to the ultimate end of the series." She admits "crucial pieces of information" to be revealed in book 6 were actually pulled from that story very early on, as it wasn't the "proper home" for them.
* The opening chapter, Rowling has stated, is actually reborn from discarded early chapters removed from the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. We may see a more explicit scene of Voldemort killing Harry's parents. What happens in book six.

Click on the numbered links to see the source of the statement, ie; the interview where the information came from. 1) Harry spends his shortest break at the Dursleys yet. 2) We'll learn more about the circumstances of Voldemort's birth. 3) Nymphadora Tonks, the character, will be back and will possibly play an important role. 4) Moaning Myrtle will make a reappearance in the story. 5) Narcissa Malfoy (wife to Lucius Malfoy) will play a bigger role now that her husband is in Azkaban. 6) We will find out what memory Dudley re-lived when the dementor attacked him in the beginning of OotP. 7) Wormtail will reappear in book six. 8) Harry will see more romance in his life. 9) There will be a new minister for magic. 10) There is a graveyard in Hogwarts and it becomes crucial in book six. No, her mother was removed from the Black tapestry because she married a muggle man, Tonks and Nymphadora was a result of that marriage. She is half, but she is a she. Unless a metamorphamagi can change their sex.

Finally! Some concrete facts.
I can't wait to find out what Dudley saw when in company of the dementors and what part Narcissa will play, I am dying to find out if she is as evil as Bellatrix, I have a feeling she won't be as bad as her though, I suppose being a Mother she may have a kinder side to her, the again - maybe not! :ermsmile:
Tonks, I love that woman and I can't wait to see her pop her head up again.
If Harry does see more romance, I put money on it that it's Luna!
I think the Graveyard will play a very pivotal part, I have a feeling that might be where Harry's parents are buried, after all they loved Hogwarts, it is where they met and they were only 21 when they were killed so it's where they would have spent most of their life.

That's cool... I love hpana, and this website is just going to make me even more excited for Book 6. I never use to come to SS before book five, so the anticipation I have for this HP is even greater than ever before because I know so much more about what could possibly happen.
I want HBP now!!!

Wow that was a lot of great info! I was hoping we would get to know Narcissia a little more. I love how in depth we are getting with the characters. More romance for Harry? Possibly Ginny? Guess only time will tell. As for the half blood prince, I've heard some people's opinions, and I'm leaning towards Hagrid, but it could also be a new character. Can't wait for the book to come out!
