Last month we reported that a first edition Philosopher's Stone, which features an illustrated card signed by J. K. Rowling, was being auctioned by the Heritage Auction Galleries. It has now been announced that the paperback book sold for a record $19,120. Of the winning bid, it was said that: Quote:
The winning bidder is from Dubai and is said to be a comic book collector whose wife is a Harry Potter fan.
