| | |  First edition inscribed Chamber of Secrets expected to fetch thousands
A first edition inscribed and signed copy of Chamber of Secrets is expected to fetch thousands at auction, next week. The personal message inside reads; Quote:
‘To Emily, I am very flattered to hear how much you liked Harry one – hope this one doesn’t disappoint, JK Rowling’.

Alex Dove, books expert at Lyon & Turnbull said that the special message made all the difference to the book’s worth at the sale on 16 September.
She said: “We sell Harry Potter volumes quite frequently and they vary from very good unsigned copies to signed collections.
“However, the signed ones are not as rare as the ones that are personally inscribed by JK Rowling – which are much more unusual.
“This one has a really lovely inscription and because it’s the second book rather than one of the later editions when she was famous, that makes it more unusual as well.
“It would be a nice one to buy because it is an immaculate copy, and because of the inscription.
“We have quite abroad bidding base so we expect to get interest from around the world.”

“It’s obviously quite sentimental, I’ve had the book for a while now – but it think it’s time for someone else to have it.
“I’ve just seen the new film and I’ve always been a big fan since the first book.
“I haven’t be lucky enough to meet her – I’d like to meet her just to say thank you.”

Actually a lot of people would want it. Most wouldn't care who it was signed for. The fact that it was personally signed by the author herself is the real draw. If I had the money, I'd sure as heck throw in for it.

hmm if i had that book i wouldn't have sold it nuhuh but it is her decision. 
Also, i hope the book goes to a FAN .. not some kid who isn't a fan but has rich parents that only buy the book because they have nothing else to do with their money
