| | |  Fiona Shaw honoured with degree
The University of Ulster today reports that Fiona Shaw, who plays Petunia Dursley in the Potter films and was also trained in drama at RADA, received the degree of Doctor of Letters (DLitt) this morning in recognition of her services to the theatre and theatre education. Quote:
Cork-born Fiona Shaw is regarded as one of Ireland’s finest character actors. RADA-trained, she joined the National Theatre in 1982 and was also a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for a time in 1985.
Her most controversial role was when she played the lead in Shakespeare’s Richard II, a move that stirred up a storm among critics and fans.

Well I didn't know she was so talented! The last thing I remember her being in was 'three men and a little lady', I know the film was quite bad, but I thought she was good in it!
