The Finnish-language edition of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' was released this morning. Readers camped out overnight to be the first to get the book and a free T-shirt.

While around 30 bookstores in various parts of the country hurried to sell the book for a couple of hours already around midnight, about 100 stores opened their doors today just before 9.00 a.m.

I wonder if all the Finns already knew what was going to happen since the book had already been out for so long in other languages.

If I had had to wait that long for the book I probably would have gone insane and killed some people. That makes me want to become a translator and translate seventeen books a day for people who are waiting.
