'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore' completes theater run with $400m global
After almost two months since its theatrical release, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore finally hit the $400 million USD box office milestone worldwide. This is expected to be the end of the theater run for the movie as it is now already available on HBO Max and video on demand.
A breakdown of its box office: the movie brought in $400.5 million, and $305 million of that was from international box office from 71 markets. Domestically, it never broke $100m, just coming short with $94 million.
For those interested, Warner Bros. and HBO Max released the first 10 minutes of the movie in ties with its VOD launch last week.
