| | |  Fans meet Emma Watson in Selfridges
Emma-Watson.net webmaster Jo recently wrote a report from the day when Emma Watson turned on the Christmas Lights in Oxford Street.
In her report she referred to two girls who were given tickets for the PoA Premiere by Emma Watson (I mentioned those girls in my PoA Prem report too - I was stood directly next to them) as those girls were also present at the Oxford Street lights display.
The event was near Selfridges, a shop in Oxford Street and so the two fans went in there, hoping to bump into Emma Watson. And guess what happened?
Yes, lady luck struck twice for them. They met her, talked to her and got an autograph, plus a picture taken with her.
The report from that particular meeting can be read here courtesy of Jo who typed up the email which the two girls sent the site webmaster detailing what happened when they met Emma Watson.

I am so gutted. Twice they met her! I am so envious too but it's better to be honest about that rather than hide it. It's kind of annoying that one of them wasn't a fan but I sorta knew that when only one of them got excited at the premiere about getting tickets from Emma Watson/David Heyman.

I read about that. Jo seemed a bit gutted because she wanted to walk around with them but never got the chance.

The poor girl sounded like she was a bit out of her depth, but I think she managed to pull it off in the end. They should have had the boys there with her too, but I suppose they wouldn't have been able to hear a thing above the screaming girls!

Cool. I want to go to Oxford someday ( no, not the college). I'm not the type to approach celebrities like that, because they're real people. I'd just casually talk, not say "Like", "Omigosh", "You're so great", "You're so Pretty", and "Can I have your autograph"?. You have to just start talking, like about sports or something casual if you want to keep casual. Some celebrities, like the late Marlon Brando, would've been very irritated by this type of behavior. Fortunatelly for this lady, the girl's young, and just downright nice and hospitable. You can tell, the last thing that I am is a "groupie"!

Oxford Street isn't actually in Oxford at all lol it's in London. And no, Oxford isn't in London, it's near Cambridge. Emma was in Oxford Street, not Oxford the city.
