Natalie Jacobsen, 15, from the US, has written an 804-page version of ' Half-Blood Prince'. The young writer has now travelled to Scotland this week in the hope of showing Rowling her work. Quote:
Natalie has read the previous five books 51 times, and insists she is "JK Rowling's biggest fan".
"I really love the books and I want to be an author when I'm older," she said. "I went to the London premiere of the last Harry Potter film to try to meet JK Rowling, but it didn't happen. So now I've come to Edinburgh and I really want to show her my book."
Natalie has had the novel specially bound, but is not selling it. In her version of the sixth book, evil Professor Snape is the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

Wow that would be so cool to meet JK! I think something like this happened when OOTP came out. I remember it was a boy who wrote it though.
Of course she's no going to publish it though. Many of the HP names and things are copyrighted to begin with, so she couldn't earn money for something she didn't invent, and if some of the stuff she wrote is found to really happen in HBP, then even things like law suits and such could ensue.

WoW! 804 pages. That must have taken forever to print out. My friend who told me about this site. Wanted to print out her rp that she was in cause she wanted to re-read it and make it in to a ff. She stoped when it said it was going to print 600 something pages. Thats so great of her to write her own, I would have never thought about that. Good Luck to her. I hope she meets J.K. | |

that must have taken forever, well done and she must be one of the best fans to put so much dedication into it. i really hopes she gets to meet JK, im opinion she really deserves it. there are some really good harry potter fanfiction writer who puts in a lot of time and effort and it'd be brilliant if they could all get to meet jk but i guess if that was to happen Jk might as well give up 24 hours ad ay meeting them. So to her, Good Luck and Well Done.

Woa thats real devotion. Imagine if some of the stuff that happens in this HBP happens in the real HBP. But isn't Snape pure-blood? The hat said that Slytherin only took students whose ancestry is the purest and does anyone think that he truly isn't evil? i think he just has a bad temper and doesnt like Harry. Happy 4th of July to you Americans out there!!!!!!!!

She is brilliant to write all this story  . I hope the story events be some kind of like what was in Harry Potter books.. I see some stories that is far away from the original series.  The events is totaly different. Mixing up every thing. So, I wish to read this fanfic to see how she could walk on Rowling's road.

Thats what the whole disclaimer is for--to show our gratitude to her and to say that we aren't going to sell anything we write. Fanfiction isn't for the money.

His blood-line has never been mentioned and although he was a Slytherin, as we saw with Harry, it is the house that the STUDENT chooses, not the hat, that decides their destiny. He isn't evil; he's one of those grey characters like Percy and Cornelius. Quote:
