An article on Teen Hollywood, about ' Order of the Phoenix', is doing the rounds claiming that shooting for the fifth film is staying in the UK because of Dan Radcliffe's parents. The article goes on to say that the decision was made because of Prague's unsuitable night life.
Dan's representatives have confirmed that the story is complete fabrication. Quote:
"This is a totally fabricated story, with not one grain of truth in it. Firstly, due to the uncertainty with the present British tax situation, Warner Bros is still considering all options regarding locations for all its films shooting in Europe. In regards to Harry Potter no decision has been made as to location of filming ie. whether it be in the UK or abroad."
"The Radcliffes (as have all the families) are completely aware of the situation and have been incredibly supportive of the production and these discussions. Daniel is definitely doing the next film and both he and the family are very happy to go where ever Warner Bros finally decides best suits the needs of the film. They couldn't have been more supportive or amenable during this process and to suggest otherwise is totally unfair and totally wrong!"

exactly this is why I don't pay any attention to these kind of stories till the truth comes from the person concerned.
anway I am sure that the radcliffes will support dan, the production company etc.....I hope the location doesn't move though

If I didnt read the statement beforehand, i wouldnt believe it anyway. His parents have always been very supportive of his decsions about filming. I mean if they are going to let him go to Austrailia to film December Boys, why not let him go to Prague to film OotP. It's a bit silly since he will be older then anyway and Austrailia is much further away than Czechoslovakia. Its surprising what rubbish can be made up. I would of expected this kind of artcile in the Sun. Although part of me hopes that they dont go away to film. | |

LOL When I first saw it, I saw it on Contact Music, so I knew it was complete rubbish.
It is good to know, however, that a) Dan has been completely confirmed for OotP (even though I knew USA Today was a trustworthy source) and b) that all the parents are completely fine with any move to a different location. I'm sure that makes it easier. Although I'm not convinced it will move... this is a power struggle and they'll end up staying, I'm sure.

Frankly, that's all I care about right now!  We all know to expect the worst from the media, so it's not really surprising that all sorts of junk come out every now and again. But back to Dan - it would be so odd if there was a new guy playing Harry, or Hermione, or Ron, or Snape, or Malfoy........etc.
