Exclusive video: Rupert Grint & Rob Sheehan explain why fans should see Cherrybomb
You may recall a few weeks ago we asked all of you to submit questions for Rupert Grint regarding his upcoming film Cherrybomb. We now have a video of Rupert and co-star Rob Sheehan answering the first fan question posed by a SnitchSeeker member.
Quote:
Why should people go see Cherrybomb?
Rob: First of all, because you’re fans of Rupert. That’s reason No. 1. If you like him, go see the film he’s in. Duh. (Rupert laughs)
And, to pitch it to you … well, I think that the film is about the tearing apart of friendship and the reason for the monotony of teenage suburban life in Northern Ireland, in this case. And I think it’s about two friends – one friend needing the other more than other.
Rupert: Yeah, it basically just centers around these three teenagers with very different pressures and contraints. They all are insecure really.
Rob: And I suppose the general tone of it is fast-paced, it’s a party atmosphere. It’s drugs, sex, rock ‘n roll and it’s a whopping good ride … if you want to see it.
We will be posting more member-posed questions in the weeks leading up to the film’s release on April 23 (in the U.K.).
Additionally, Rupert was interviewed at the recent Empire Awards show where he talked about the Harry Potter series coming to an end, that he would complete filming in June and how the last two films would have a different feel than the previous ones. He also spoke a bit about whether or not he'd do another film series and touched on his relationship with his co-stars.

I think if there was another one I would have a long think about doing it. It has been a long time and I am ready to move on.
We have been through a lot together. That goes for all the cast. We are a close family. It is a great atmosphere on set. It will be weird when we're saying goodbye to each other.
UPDATE: Rupert and Rob participated in a ten-minute long interview with The Sun to promote Cherrybomb, where Rupert talked about the sex scenes he had to perform with costar Kimberley Nixon, and whether or not he is competitive professionally with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
I actually cannot wait to go and see Cherrybomb on 23rd April...Already planned it with two of my friends...The trailers I've seen for the film looks amazing and reminds me of a show called Skins...Have any of you see Driving Lessons with Rupert Grint and Julie Walters? I LOVE that film Yay for 23rd April!x

Skins is a drama on Channel 4. It's about a group of boys and girls in their mid to late teens. They deal with alot of issues in the show and display how drugs and drink can lead to bad decisions. It's quite good..Check it out on 4oD you may like it!
Sorry if I haven't explained it very well but it's one of those shows that's a bit of everything!
