| | |  Exclusive: Video of Dan, Rupert, Emma at Hollywood hand-foot-wand ceremony
I witnessed Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint put their wand, hand and footprints in the cement at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre yesterday. It was humbling to see how honored and nervous they all were to be part of such a historic event.
After an introduction by Johnny Grant, the honorary mayor of Hollywood, Warner Bros. CEO Alan Horn and Harry Potter producer David Heyman spoke, then Heyman introduced the trio. Each wanted the other two to speak first, and Rupert’s hands shook as he was about to place them in the cement.
The trio put their wands in first, then signed their names before adding their handprints to a (roughly) 4 x 6 block of wet cement. Lastly, they stepped into the cement and, afterward, removed their shoes so they could be put on display at the Hollywood Museum.
