| | |  Exclusive: Tonks has one scene in Half-Blood Prince (UPDATED)
This past weekend I attended Collectormania 13 in Milton Keynes, England, where, amongst others, Natalia Tena (Tonks) was present. She told me about her role in Half-Blood Prince & her reaction to Deathly Hallows.
The only scene Natalia has filmed for the movie, isn't actually in the book at all. She was only on set for the part where Death Eaters attack the Burrow at Christmas (where Harry & the Weasleys are present). She said that none of the angst of her character is there - indeed, she and Lupin are just suddenly a couple when they meet there.
In regards to Deathly Hallows, she said she was disappointed to see that they got married, due to her own personal preference towards the institution. So she doesn't want a big wedding scene (which some fans think may happen, given the exclusion of Bill Weasley & Fleur Delacour from Half-Blood Prince). But she did say that she would love to have to ride a broom with a pregnant belly.
This was Natalia's first ever convention and hopefully not her last. She was a true character in every sense of the word.

It sounds to me like HBP movie is not going to be true to the book. I hope they do not steer to far away from the book. This is really breaking my heart because HBP has very important info that ties into DH | |

Hmm. Though, I can see everyone's point about not wanting Tonks to be all mopey and stuff, however, that part of Tonks life illustrated her love for Remus as well as showed her more vulnerable side. All the characters have a known weakness, which Jo sneaks in brilliantly into the plot line, and for Tonks this was undying love. Besides, I would have loved to see Natalia playing the broken hearted, love stricken Tonks, which I'm sure she'd do perfectly.

So who's going to rescue Harry from the train? Snape? Time would prevent all the Lupin / Tonks anguish but would still like to have more Tonks in HBP.
I think David Heyman said when OoTP came out that the story was honed down to just that part that carries Harry's story forward. If Heyman / Yates / Kloves continue to follow this philosophy then what we know about deleted scenes / characters and the new battle @ the burrow is understandable (or more importantly forgivable!)
Tonks is not essential to the hospital scene (after Bill is attacked) but has this scene been confirmed? Phlegm (LOL) hasn't been cast for HBP so is this storyline and the wedding going to be in DH?

I love Tonks , she is one of my fav characters. Its a shame that Tonks and Lupin could not have a real romance instead of a thrown together one.

I don't like that the only scene she's in is a scene that isn't even in the boooks.
