SnitchSeeker, along with our affiliates Harry Potter's Page and DanRadcliffe.co.uk, got the chance to interview Tom Felton earlier today at the New Jersey Hot Topic event to promote Half-Blood Prince.

Tom opened up about getting started on Malfoy Manor sequences next week for Deathly Hallows, where he will be working alongside Helen McCrory, Jason Isaacs (both of whom play his on-screen parents), and Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort. It can be seen below:

I cannot WAIT for the Malfoy Manor scene. I bet it's gonna be one of the best parts of DH.

I totally agree. Malfoy Manor is one of the scenes I'm most looking forward to. The chapter was just so great! I hope they stick close to how it was written.

yeah and it's great what he said about draco wanting to help harry i have always predicted this even when i first read and watched the three first novels where draco hated harry the most

Awesome! It seems Tom has ditched his philosphy of not reading specific HP book until he's filmed the movie. That's what he used to do.

And woah, did my ears deceive me or did they say that they'll be filming the Malfoy Manor scene in a few weeks? That can't possibly be part of Deathly Hallows Part 1? That's past the halfway marking of the book.

Who said anything about it being DH part one? They're not making the movies in order at all. Plus, from what Tom said in regards to Ralph Fiennes filming with them next week, it might be chapter one of the book, not the trio sequence in Malfoy Manor later on.

Oh, I guess they could do that..... I just thought they'd film out of order for Part 1...not film out of order for both flims.....but then again, Voldemort doesn't really come in the Malfoy Manor chapter till right after they escape, doesn't he? I think your right, it's the chapter one scene. hehe.

Nah, they said they've just been filming scenes for both films the entire time; they're not filming part one and then part two (plus, Shell Cottage was filmed back in May, and that's definitely in part two).

Hey I was there! Oh my god I had so much fun! It was great meeting him, he is soo soo nice!! I got to shake his hand and get the poster with his signature, It was awesome! I hope he comes to NJ again.
