So, the release of Order of the Phoenix just happened, and like thousands of Harry Potter fans world wide, I flocked to the theaters to see the movie. Just one difference in my viewing: I also got to meet James and Oliver Phelps who play Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films!

Due to my stunning persuasive skills, mom, Heather and I left home around 10am so we could get there before the guys showed up to get in line an hour early. Unlike last time, our wait was only 30 – 40 minutes long, and we had to prepay for our autographs and pictures. It was $20 for them to sign their Official Picture, or $30 for a Photographer to take your picture with them, and them to sign it. I opted to do both. The line moved quickly, the guys were fresh and ready to go. James had gotten a new hair cut, which I definitely prefer over their previous Beatle-look that Oliver was still sporting. We gave our cards to the lady taking the order forms, and she had us move around and stand behind the table for our picture. Last time, it was a big rush, and at the pace the line had been moving I thought it was still a rush, so getting behind the table, I was surprised when James turned to introduce himself and shake our hands. We chatted for a bit, about the weather, as it had been blistering hot when they arrived and the day we met was much cooler, they had played golf that morning, and were impressed that we drove three hours simply to come and meet them. They are much cuter in person, and their accents are love. They are really sweet, as they spoke to everyone, and seemed genuinely pleased to be there, even sticking around for a while after they were supposed to break for their dinner. Still a little shy, but they are slowly coming out of their shells.
