Here is Marcella_Riddle's review of the game: Quote:
I think it’s important to note first off that I am not a gamer perse. I can play certain games where you just aimlessly make a character run around but rarely can I ever complete them (this is especially true for the HP games – it took me around 20 times to kill Voldemort on the PS game). And, I had even worse trouble completing tasks such as Quidditch and flying Buckbeak.
That was until the release of the Quidditch World Cup game, which I got on Gamecube. I found it easier than a lot of games mainly because I played on it loads. One thing I did dislike about it was the way the players all seemed to clutter together, therefore getting in the way of my viewing fellow players on the pitch.
Which leads me to Quidditch 3D by Dissendium. I liked this game so much more because the characters, while in gameplay mode, were bigger. The pitch was also more expansive so that they had more room to move around in and thus made the viewing that much easier.
The gameplay in itself does take a while to get used to – or maybe that’s just me because I suck at games – but once you get into it, be warned it is EXTREMELY addictive – and that’s coming from someone who’s not in the least bit competitive!
I especially loved the options menu. I’m one of those people entertained by the small things in life which was why having the faces became coloured when you hover your mouse over them, delighted me to no end. I also adored the character descriptions.
The colours are bright and the game is full of realism. I loved the weather feature and collapsed into hysterics when I saw a playmate had fallen to the floor and off their broom!
In conclusion it’s a well rounded game which, after working out to work it, I found addictive. The only criticism I’d have is that there’s not enough brutality!

I have tried the game now myself and I like it a lot!!!
Being a seeker is really hard work and practice is really needed, I mean the snitch dissappears in a second it's really amazing trying to catch it!!!
I only caught it once so far and that was real luck...

Finally got my hands on it after waiting, and I like it lots!
The controls are a little difficult at first, but after a while of playing it's tons of fun. Some Cons are that you can't "back up", or fly backwards on your broom. Another thing is that even though the Quidditch Balls have Red Rings around them, it's hard to tell the difference between a Bludger and a Quaffle at times.
The Forums are great, too. Check out the Quidditch 3D General Discussion board for just random talk on Quidditch 3D. If you have any ideas on how to improve the game, go to Quidditch 3D Suggestions. And if you have any help with the game, there's always Quidditch 3D Support and Quidditch 3D Bug Box.

I see what you mean...it really sucks when you can't do stuff you want too, I was really frustrated when I didn't get to hear the radio exclusive before the game's release but oh well...

I guess I can go download this game on my new laptop (and I'm using it now), even though my dad doesn't want me to download any games , but I'm going to do it anyway. It'll be great on the go! I mean, I can't just play minesweeper (I can't ever accomplish expert level! *arg* ), spider, and solitare all day long whenever I'm on an airplane (though I'm not sure if they'll let you; I haven't been on one for...*counts years* nearly twelve years, since I was six, estimating.) this summer, if I do go. If he asks about the game, I'll tell him it came with the laptop! I'll post later if it's good.

I played the basics and other triaining once, but it turns out I suck at all of them, except for Chaser, and I haven't tried Keeper. Those rings were either too fast or hard to see, or rather hard to maneuver when played in third person! I could play better than that when I played broomstick on Sorceror's Stone (on PC)! But I guess the rings were differently created.
