Exclusive: Potted Potter to be performed at Harry Potter theme park opening?
This past weekend I attended a matinee performance of Potted Potter at Trafalgar Studios in London, a parody of all seven books which seeks to summarise all the stories in a period of seventy minutes. After the show, I interviewed Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the joint performers and writers of the piece. During our chat we covered many topics, including the Half-Blood Prince film, the possibility of them performing the show in Orlando, Florida for the opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, the upcoming Deathly Hallows films (Natalia Tena as Tonks, once again, does not have much of a role), the possibility of taking the show to America and more!
Tonks really doesn't play much of a part in DH, other than the Seven Potters and her five minutes in the final battle (wonder how are those two in the film).
That would be very funny, Potted Potter in the States!!
Or maybe something like a European Tour?? Or is it only in the UK??
The problem is, different countries have different copyright laws, so with every place they try to take it to, they have to tackle different restrictions.
i saw this last year and although it was quite funny its definetly for younger people or thats what i felt and the price of tickets were expensive for what it was so meh i never went!
All seven books in seven minutes? That's enough only for Voldemort popping up for his annual Harry-annihilation party - seven times. I wouldn't mind seeing them though.
Does anyone know when the park is set to open? Because I'm going to Canada and I want to know if I can stop over...I need to stop over. There is simply not enough Potter in Australia.
