| | |  Exclusive: New Half-Blood Prince promos from International Licensing Expo
I just got back from covering the Licensing International Expo 2008 in New York City on behalf of SnitchSeeker.com, where previews for promotional photos and merchandise for Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince were displayed by Warner Bros. to the media and all those who attended.
The banner display for the merchandise showed promotional images of Harry, Dumbledore, Draco, and Snape from Half-Blood Prince, which can be seen in high resolution from various angles
The merchandise itself, which was primarily for promotion of the fifth film, consisted of clothing, action figures, journals, and much more, which can be seen in our galleries:     
Also, promos from Half-Blood Prince which were seen earlier on the Opal Yarn displays were also shown at the expo, including much clearer shots of Harry, Ron, Lupin and Tonks, which can also be seen in our galleries.      | |

Well yay! But RON'S HAIR!! *cries* It's not as bad as GoF, but...NO! His hair in PoA and OotP were both great looks! Why does he keep going the longer route?
I know it's a minor point to some of the awesomeness of the other ones, but..Although, it is great to see Draco seeming to be a major presence in the film, which is very heartening!

I love merchandise!!!! However, I still find Harry Potter yarn such a weird item to market. Snowglobes and purses - fine. But... yarn???
And now from my nine year old who likes to give her money to Warner Bros. as well..... I thought the posters were utterly cool. But I don't get the yarn. I mean like whats up with that? YARN????? Once you rip off the paper who in the world would know if it was Harry Potter yarn? It's pretty a weird thing to collect for a Harry Potter fan I mean I wouldn't buy it! There could other things I would buy besides that! I think there should be Harry Potter curtains that would be pretty cool actually! I also love the purses they are so wicked! | |

I would've bought Harry Potter yarn if I can. (Living in Vietnam is sometimes so hard like that for a Potter-maniac like me...) I'm begging my grandma to teach me how to knit, so I could knit Hogwarts scarfs for everyone at SS!
