A few days ago we got in touch with Hamilton Hodell, the agency that represents Shirley Henderson, who plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films. It has been confirmed to us that the character hasn't made it into Half-Blood Prince. Quote: |

That's too bad, I rather like Myrtle and Moaning. But then, movies never are the same as the books they're based on, not just the HP movies. |

aww i will miss seeing myrtle in the last and 2nd last book because i don't think she is in the last book any way because the last one isn't in hogwarts very much. | |

It will be hard with out Moaning Myrtle, with the bathroom stuff with draco, no doubt they have found a way around this, but one wonders if it will make it too different. :s | |

It's sad that she wont be there, I like Moaning Murtle!
But I think the reason why they are cutting out so many things is because the book is long. I know the movie will still be great no matter what! AS long as Harry Potter's still there! haha. |

WB is probably too stingy to even pay for actors who have smaller parts even though there parts wouldn't make the films that much longer. It makes you wonder who and what WILL be left in the films doesn't it... | |

They wouldn't remove that part i guess.
and i'd love to see moaning myrtle again, but she's not again in the movie.
how annoying...
It was a very odd scene where Draco and Myrtle were conversing. i never thought Draco would talk to myrtle, The idea was very odd, and i'd love to see that part..
