We have scans of an Order of the Phoenix spread from Empire magazine, courtesy of DR.co.uk. In addition to the earlier comments by director David Yates regarding the running time of the film (which we reported on here), HP producer David Heyman also talks about the search for Luna Lovegood and the character of Professor Umbridge. Quote:
We searched for months. Then eventually we held an open casting and in came Evanna Lynch. She’s an obsessive Potter fan who’d actually had correspondence with Jo Rowling. When she was cast Jo rang me up because she just couldn’t believe it – from her letters she said, ‘She is Luna.’
Heyman on Professor Umbridge: Quote:
She’s all smiles on the surface. But underneath she’s deadly … Looking after 15 year-olds can drive anyone to the edge.
Imelda Staunton also comments on being in a Harry Potter film: Quote:
”Well, actually I was rather insulted they’d never asked,” jokes Imelda Staunton about the fact that it’s taken her five films to get into the franchise that proves any British actor has made it (Judi Dench is reportedly doing some house-elf Method preparation for Part 6).
Hmmm … Judi Dench as Hokey?  That’d be interesting.

Wow that is really cool. I noticed that some poeple that have posted think that David's picture is in one of the scans. That is NOT HIM! David has a thin face and dark hair; oh yeah, and he's pretty young. I am really exited about Umbridge and Luna in the films!
