| | | Emma Watson wins "Best Child Performance of the Year" award
Total Film magazine recently honoured Emma Watson, aka Hermione Granger with an award for being the "Best Child Performance of the Year".
The magazine took a picture of her in her trailer (as she's busy shooting GoF) with the award in hand.
The picture can be seen here courtesy of Veritaserum.
She says that she and her parents are so excited about the award. The award was originally called 'Least irritating child performance of the year' but was changed due to complaints from Total Film readers. (The magazine pointed out that it was a joke.) Emma says she does read the magazine and so she probably would've noticed the joke! |

Fifth | She loos kinda odd in that picture...Congratulations to her. Quote:
Emma Watson has been outstanding in all three Harry Potter films, but in The Prisoner Of Azkaban she matured into something truly special - even out-acting some of the adults.
I don't know about that. I mean she was good in the film, but I don't think she out acted any of the adult stars. They act like she's the best actress in the world! I think this has to do with that stupid punching Malfoy scene.

Congrats to Em! This should be one of her last awards as a "child" -- hey, there's a playstation in her trailer/dressing room! I wonder if she plays Resident Evil 3 and Tekken too let's play Emma!
I hope Rupert gets some more awards too, he's so deserving -- I love Rupert!

| Well done Emma! But I havent even heard of all the other child actors so it just shows you that Emma has been the one that has made an impact on everyone so she totally deserves it. |

i think she should've got the award for CoS, not PoA..in PoA i felt she played more of herself than Hermione.

Good Job! She is a good actress but... I really don't think she's as great as some people say she is... but then what do I know about acting?

I like Emma Watson and congratulations to her but i think the award should be the "most improved child actor of the year"along side dan radcliffe.seriously,in the first HP movies, their acting was, well, it was okay..but in the second and especially the thid movie, they have improved a lot.Theyhave gotten better. I agree with you...100%.I'm not saying this because i like Rupert Grint..okay, well, maybe partially it's because of that, but i seriously believe that among the three of them, he's the best when it comes to acting. He doesn't even look like he's acting at all!He has embraced the character. It's like he has internalized with the character so well and so deeply that you would really see Ron in him.like Rupert Grint and Ron Weasley are the same person. That, for me, is good acting. |
