Emma Watson just revealed on her official Facebook that she got a new haircut in New York City, where she is currently doing press for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Emma's very new look can be seen below.  Quote:

She now joins Carey Mulligan, Aia Wasikowska, and Emily Browning as a current actress with this short pixie-style cut. Emma is incredibly gorgeous, but I prefer her with longer hair undoubtedly.

she reminds me of Sinead O'Connor. I think it looks good on her. she matured a little. Wow. this really a thing called "after Harry Potter. I'm not Hermione Granger anymore from Harry POtter." I forgot Emma Watson the Hermione Granger. That's good. still give her a credit...
Just be happy she didn't cut it like Britney Spears...and "oh" she's trending on Twitter...i think it's time to recognize her as Emma Watson, the not Hermione Granger anymore...lol!

The pixie cut is cute-frames her natural beauty well...but yeah prefer her w. longer hair-probably b/c that is all we have ever seen her with But now that she is 20, probably wanted a change and leave those teen years behind.

WOW!!! so not what I as expecting at all when i read this headline!! I am shocked!!! I think it makes her look both and younger, if that makes any sense.... i will always love her with longer hair, but she can rock the short hair as well - i am excited to see more pics with this new hair cut

AH! NOOOOO! *shields eyes with arms*: This is exactly what I did when I first saw it, but after I got over the shock, It is pretty darn cute! It's very sophisticated looking. It suits her face well, Hey! She also looks a lot like Twiggy in the 60's. And it does make her look more like 'Emma' and no longer 'Hermione'. I think that's what she was trying to do. I did that a year ago, I just said "Cut it off!" To the hair stylist, almost that short, maybe an inch longer. And I felt like a new person, it was great -- but I like it longer and it was a pain to take care of, and after a while I started to miss running my hands through my long hair. But it's all grown out now. Yay!
