No offense or anything, but Dan and Emma are too much like brother and sister. They've known each other ever since they were like eleven and they've got this sibling-like relationship. Plus they have interests of their own when it comes to the opposite sex, I'm sure. (QUOTE )

But what do i know, i just think they make a cute couple ! i noticed the behind the scenes stuff too during they're younger days, but at most they were probably just flirting with each other. its been said in several interviews that they were all "crushing on each other" when they were 12, 13, 14 years old. but nowadays Dan, Emma and Rupert are more siblings than anything else.
i understand the wishful thinking of the Dan-Emma shippers. i'm not a shipper but i do notice that the actors have strong onscreen chemistry, and their book characters seem to be a better fit than what JKR wrote in the end. but as Emma said, people has got to accept that she and Dan arent going to pursue a relationship with each other other than the friendship/ colleague one that they already have.
