| | |  Emma Watson considered for Shark Attack role
In an article by Time, Emma Watson is stated as being considered for the lead role in a film based on the story of Bethany Hamilton, a now 16 year old, homeschooled entrepreneur, who was attacked by a shark in Hawaii while surfing in 2003. Hamilton lost her arm in the attack. The movie is based on Hamilton's autobiography, Soul Surfer.
Emma has not been set in the role. As of right now, she's only being considered. Other candidates for the role include Jamie Lynn Spears.
Filming is set to begin in the fall, which would clash with filming for ' Order of the Phoenix' which isn't due to end until October/November. | |

Yeah, ummmm.... I can't see Emma playing an American teen... learning the accent would be hard, and she has to keep her English one for OoTP filming ^^

Its a great oppurtunity and i hope she gets the role!! Emma would be wonderful!! Jamie Lyn Spears wil be hard competition because she already has the American accent and looks like Bethany-oh, i hope emma gets it!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Bethaney's American right? But I guess if Em-wait-since Emma is a good Actress she can act without her accent. That would be very weird though. I'mnot really sure I wan ther to do it though.
