Although every time I hear of people getting their A level results back, everyone always gets A's, are they easy? Or do I just know of really smart british kids?

^ That's the debate. IMO it isn't true. When I took them, 3 years ago, they were the hardest exams I ever did. Much worse than anything I've done at university since. It's just that people are applying themselves better to studying.
Plus, the HP kids get 1-on-1 tutoring...it'd be a poor investment if they didn't ace their exams.

True, if they don't ace them, then they obviously do not care about school.

^ I just think it demeans the hard work to say "oh, they're getting easier." I don't care what any 'expert' says, I took English Literature, Religious Studies and History and they were by no stretch of the imagination 'easy'.
Also, it's a waste of money, Although, when it comes to A Levels, classes are generally very small because it's the hardest point in our education system. For example, my English class had 4 students.

Yeah for sure, I doubt they are any easier.
Yes, all standardized tests are huge wastes of money, I hate it.

| Pretty, pretty Princess EEP! Alert!
Woah that's really good, I know from experience how hard Geography and English Literature are. My old English teacher told me that the English Literature A Level is thought of as one of the hardest A Levels, if not the very hardest so very well done to Emma!
