Rumors have been all over for a while that Emma Watson who potrays Hermione Granger in the series of Harry Potter films, has refused to act in the upcoming fourth film "Harry Potter........ Article:
Rumors have been all over for a while that Emma Watson who potrays Hermione Granger in the series of Harry Potter films, has refused to act in the upcoming fourth film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" owing to it's affect on her academic interests.
Rumours about Rupert Grint who plays Ron Weasley, Harry's best friend have also been heard that he was refused the offer of Ronald Weasley as his voice was cracking owing to his adolescence.
J. K. Rowling has decided to put in extra roles in the next HP movie "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and there are rumours that roles for Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley are vacant for the 5th movie.
Meanwhile viewers here do not want Emma and Rupert to be changed as they have done well in the two HP movies.
Recently it has also been heard that Daniel Radcliffe too refused to act in the forthcoming films as he was fed up with everyone calling him Harry Potter and not Daniel. He also told that his studies and many other activities were being affected due to the long hours of shoot.  | |

okay, hermione you are making everyonebelieve that the main actors aen't going to be there. Write now, let what they do be done. I mean, they are great and all, but this leves a wide spot for other famous actors. Ad we still have Tom Felton, right? So why post this... this gruesome RUMOR!! RUMORS ARE NOT FACT!! I'm sorry, I'm so spiteful, and pleaze dont be mad, but it is the TRUTH AND NOT THE RUMOR THAT COUNTS!!! Okay, hermione!? bye!!!

I've re-opened this thread because I believe a healthy discussion is a good thing.
This was posted as a rumor, and that's what it is intended as. This forum is even called "News and rumors" so don't think that only things that are proven to be true are allowed here.
Speculation and discussion will always be allowed - as long as it's clearly not attempting to deceive anybody - or pose as fact.

Na it cant be true if they were all so fed up with it then why are just now saying something.....what did they all just diside there sick of this yesterday!!!!!! there is no proof so i dont believe it. I find that hearing of all these characters at the same time say practicly the same thing is VERY far featched!!!!

Since Emma already signed up for GoF (and Dan and Rupert did too), this rumor is completely fake. So what do we talk about?, how OoTP would be if Emma wasn't in it?.
I've given it some thought, and i would understand if any of the kids
decided to not be in the other movies. Dan is fourteen now, and the filming of GoF begins next year, i heard somewhere that is was to begin around february, or something, and let's say he reaches fifteen while making it, he would be sixteen by the time they begin making OoTP, and and maybe seventeen, or eighteen (too lazy too calculate the exact numbers), and for the youth that's a whole life. And maybe the kids will think that spending all the time making Harry Potter has lost its fun, and will want to change. I think the kids will stay just for GoF, and then they'll have to do a re-cast.
I wouldn't like seeing them go, but i would understand if they get tired.

It would be wonderful to keep the cast intact for all of the films. I don't think this is possible. It takes such a long time to make the films and in the real world, people are growing up, changing occupations, and dying (Richard Harris RIP). By the time the 7th book is written and then converted to a script, the kids could be in their 20's. Unless there are hormone problems, they will become too grown up to play their characters with integrity.
It would still be nice to keep everyone together. :flowersmile:

Actually if it weren't for Emma i wouldn't have seen the movies, i didn't see PS when it premiered, i only rented it after seeing an interview of Emma in E!News when the premiere of CoS, and thought that if that girl was playing Heimione maybe the movie wouldn't be so bad. And i rented PS and loved it, and then went to see CoS and loved it even more.
