Nintendo: The Official magazine has a new interview with Electronic Arts executive producer Jonathan Bunney in which he talks about the new Half-Blood Prince video game. Quote: ONM: What makes this game different to last year's instalment?
Jonathan Bunney: For the first time in five years of Harry Potter games, we're putting Harry back in his Quidditch robes. We also have two-player games that you can play from the main menu.
Quote: ONM: How many of the voices in the game are those of the real actors in the movie?
JB: We've had a constant flow of actors in the studio over the last few weeks, including favourites like Ron Weasley and Luna Lovegood, as well as many of the new characters that are unique to this movie, such as Lavender Brown.
The sixth game releases on November 13th in the U.S. and on November 14th in the U.K.
Thanks to Blog Hogwarts for the tip! UPDATE: Yahoo! spoke to the Half-Blood Prince video game designer, Chris Roberts, who went into detail about how the game came to life: Quote: Y!: Which locations from the movie or book will we be able to visit?
CR: We are really pleased to confirm that as a player you will have the opportunity to explore all of Hogwarts, from the Boathouse right through to the brand new Astronomy Tower, plus key locations such as The Burrow and The Horcrux Cave.
Y!: Romance is a big theme in Half-Blood Prince. Are you planning to capture those elements in the game?
CR: Yes we are. We are focusing on the trials and tribulations of Ron Weasley, and also the developing relationship between Harry and Ginny Weasley.
Y!: Will we be able to roam freely around the game, like we could in Order of the Phoenix?
CR: Yes. Hogwarts is even bigger than last time -- you can find lots of new areas in the castle grounds -- and you can roam at will.
Y!: Have any of the cast been involved in the game's production? Are they providing voices?
CR: Yes. Many of the movie cast lend their voices to the game (including Rupert Grint - who plays Ron Weasley, Tom Felton - who plays Draco Malfoy, and Evanna Lynch - who plays Luna Lovegood).

cool, Rupert and Luna are doing their characters' voices.
but what about Bonnie for Ginny? she did great in the OOTP game.
i wish they kept the fellow who does Harry's voice, he sounds just like Dan.
although i wish they get a better voice actress for Hermione. the voice for OOTP was a hit and miss.

i think they girl-did the hermione voiceover-game sounds so air-headed!lol..i missed emma's voice..and realized how confident and strong she sounds as hermione in films!i dont think she did voiceover for hbp too.

I only played OOTP on the DS so there weren't any voices. But my god did Lupin look odd...

I feel like the Quidditch will not be as great as we might think. They spent a lot of time away and they may not have perfected the formula. Hopefully it's a lot like Quidditch World Cup. It would also be nice if, like in Chamber of Secrets Video Game, you could fly your broom around the Hogwarts grounds.
