Previously we reported that 'Driving Lessons' [Rupert Grint, Julie Walters] would receive its North American premiere on April 30th at the Tribeca Fim Festival in Manhattan. Dates, locations and times for specific screenings of this movie can be found here.

Additionally the site lists 'Driving Lessons' as one of the movies to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival which will take place between May 17th - 28th.

Tartan Films also announced that they have acquired all UK and Ireland rights to the film.

Content Film International is representing remaining worldwide rights.

The movie sounds pretty good, and it has one of my fav HP actors. I'm going to make sure to watch at some point.

I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie and I'm so excited that it's coming out soon. I hope it gets good reviews for Rupert and everyone else in the cast.

No one knows the rating of the movie yet. It's speculated that in the US it will be rated R. We don't know when it'll hit theatres. These are just festivals that all movies go to that are big budget blockbusters like the HP series. This is standard procedure for most movies. Even Alan and Ralph's movies are going to Tribecca.

I'm thrilled that Rupert Grint has landed a role in a non-HP film. He has so much potential and I think this is a great move for his career. Can't wait to see it. And Cannes Film Festival...that is HUGE!!! Way to go Rupert!

That movie looks good. Especially since Rupert is in it. He is such a great actor. Well hope the movie comes to the States. If it doesn't I'll see it anyway.
