| | |  Domhnall Gleeson talks filming Deathly Hallows & working with father Brendan
Actor Domhnall Gleeson, known to fans for portraying eldest Weasley child Bill in Deathly Hallows, just finished filming a small movie with his father and Harry Potter costar Brendan (Mad-Eye Moody).
The pair, along with Domhnall's younger brother, Brian, shot the project entitled Noreen (written and directed by Domhnall); Domhnall recently spoke to the Belfast Telegraph about working on Deathly Hallows and with his famous father. Quote:
Domhnall, who plays Bill Weasley in the new Harry Potter movie, said it was “fantastic” to work alongside his father and brother on the project.
Brendan Gleeson, of course, is well-known for his role as Hogwarts professor Mad-Eye Moody.
“Being an actor in Harry Potter is a different experience. It's fantastic at the same time but there are so many extras and it's just so huge, you're not in control of anything,” Domhnall said.
On working alongside his father in a film outside of the Harry Potter franchise: Quote:
“Dad read it and really liked it. I didn't need to ask him to audition or anything. He's so good that he didn't need to,” Domhnall said.

They did do something with George's ear. There's a sneak peak of Deathly Hallows on the two-disc special edition Half Blood Prince DVD, including a bit of the wedding scene. Fred and George are in the background, and George has a bandage around his head.  | |

That's pretty awesome! I haven't seen Domhnall in action yet, but I hope he's just as talented as his father. Brendan Gleeson is amazing and I'm so happy he's reprising his role as Moody in DH, even though he dies in the first 15 minutes of the film.
