| | |  Dobby to appear in both Deathly Hallows films
In January it was revealed that Toby Jones would return to voice the character of Dobby in Deathly Hallows however in a new interview he says he will be appearing in both the first and second movie. This would appear to imply that his character does not die until the last part of the story, giving further insight into where the narrative will be split. Quote:
I’m currently doing the new Harry Potter film; in fact, the last two Harry Potter films.
Harry Potter 7 will open on November 19th 2010 and July 15th 2011.

I am very glad Dobby will appear for a long time 
buuuuuuuuut, then I also hope they don't sum up the ending in a quick way. Dobby's death should be in the beginning? Maybe we get a sort of cliffhanger and the first DH ends when they escape

so.... to me that means that maybe they will split it when they are rescued?! I am kind of confused bc I don't remember Dobby being there before Malfoy Manor?! hmmmmm.... The first part would end when they escape from the Malfoys and Dobby gets killed, and when Harry talks with Griphook and Mr. Ollivander. There will also be a scene at the end where Voldemort returns to Hogwarts to take Dumbledore's wand. That's the climax, but it ends there. The second movie will begin with a flashback to when Dobby died, and Harry's conversations with Griphook and Ollivander, and go on from there. The second scene will be Harry looking over the water at Shell Cottage thinking about Dobby and what they have to do next. So, there.
