| | |  Dobby actor wants to return for Deathly Hallows
Dobby fans have certainly noticed the absence of everyone’s favorite house elf in the recent Harry Potter movies. In fact, Dobby hasn’t featured in any of the movies since Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Toby Jones, Dobby’s voice in the film, spoke of the house elf in a recent interview with MTV.
When he was first asked about Dobby’s death, Jones replied with the following: But SPEW members need not worry, this was nothing more than a joke. The interview went on as usual, in a more serious, and Dobby-worthy manner: Quote:
(I) am always amazed and flattered at how much that character has endured even though he hasn’t been in any films for a while. Every time a book comes out people phone me, and write to me from around the world saying ‘He’s in! He is in!’
While Dobby fans hope to see him on the big screen if only for one last time, Toby Jones hopes he will have the chance to voice the “tragic hero’s” death: Quote:
“I think it certainly would be fun to do his death,” Jones said, a wry smile across his face. “It would be fun.”

So, who is going to follow Malfoy in the 6th movie? I have never understood why Dobby has not been in any of the movies. Oh well, hopefully fans will roar loud enough to get him back for no. 7.

I think they haven't been using Dobby because he's expensive to create. I kinda already know that they won't feature him in DH. Part of me is quite furious about this, but then again I don't know if I could watch him die  .

I hope that he does come back for DH...it wouldnt be the same without him! Plus it would be missing a big part of the book,where Harry realizes that he lost like a best friend! It would be sad to take ou that part! =/

Exactly! And the last time he was emotional I nearly cried (Cedric's death in GoF... he was amazing, apparently Robert Pattinson was trying not to cry (I'm sure that's what he said, was awhile back since I saw the interview and he was asked about it) when he was doing the scene and thought it was 'amazing').
They better keep Dobby in because if not that just totally ruins the movie...
